About
From New England, currently in the Rocky Mountain West.
(Unoriginal, I Know)
Growing up in New Hampshire, I would go through phases of fixation and obsession with certain niche hobbies and subjects until I lost interest and would move on. Fishing and the outdoors were always something I had access to but were never a focus until my early teen years.
Around age 14, digital media and fishing became the main focus and have remained that way since. This led me to pursue a degree in Natural Resource Tourism at Colorado State University starting in 2019. Since then I’ve spent my time in the classroom, AND in the field learning in depth about the outdoor industry. More specifically the niche space of Fly Fishing, which continues to grow and change on a national and global scale. Currently, I am employed full-time as a social media specialist for Simms Fishing Products.
My goal is to approach fly fishing media with a unique perspective. Although still young, I have seen things as an angler, guide, shop employee, digital creator, and social media manager. Given the nature of this niche community, I believe authenticity is important and understand I have much room to learn and grow.
